How to List Your First Backyard Harvest
A practical checklist for growers who have more produce than their household can use.
You do not need a farm stand to share your harvest. A clear listing, a fair pickup window, and a few good photos are enough to help neighbors find what you grew.
Choose One Crop To Start
Start with the item you have the most confidence in. List the amount available, the unit, the pickup neighborhood, and the earliest pickup date.
Use Plain Photos
Take the picture in natural light and show the actual produce. Buyers trust simple photos more than perfect ones.
Set Expectations
Mention whether items are washed, whether substitutions are possible, and how long you can hold a reservation. Clear notes prevent missed pickups and awkward messages.
